Olympia School District Summer School
The Olympia School District is pleased to invite you to register your child for the 2008 Summer School. Many students in our community who would benefit from additional educational opportunities are receiving this invitation to enroll in classes this summer. Summer school helps students reinforce important skills, fills in gaps in learning and better prepares students for the next school year. Recommendations for students to attend summer school are based on a handful of factors- teacher referrals, classroom performance and results on different District or State tests.
- The Middle School Program is for grades 6– 8. This program will be held June 23- July 24. The 2008 summer school program includes two
offerings: Math and Reading/ Language Arts Support. Our goal is to offer support to students who need to increase understanding in the classroom as well as improve WASL scores.
