Today’s Responsibilities Thursday 11/20/08
Language Arts 2nd period:
1. Computer Lab. To type second draft telling to showing
2. Quiz Ideas and Content ( group style).
Homework :spelling review; study for spelling test
Block 3-4 & 5-6 periods:
1. April morning begin reading ps49 -79; write to “The Night” prompts
2. Ideas and Organization turning telling into showing; typed draft exchange and give assessment and editing suggestions.
3. Quiz ps 74-76 ( 3-4 only); correct
4. Show a complete summary sentence for each paragraph from the above pages.
5. Introduce and draw role play for historical character for tomorrow’s town meeting
6. Hand out spelling review.
Homework- #6 above; be prepared for your role in tomorrow’s town meeting.

Have nameplate: On front, role name in big letters, symbol representing
person, propaganda statement proclaiming your position, colored
highlights( optional)
(2) Back: facts about character’s position, arguments that favor either Patriot or Loyalist.
(3) Neutralist’s same as above except, three questions to ask both
sides instead of position statement; study for spelling test #11.
